Detta skulle ha lagts upp igår:

Nu är vi i Cebu! Vi tog flyget hit i eftermiddags. 

Boracay har varit jättebra! Ett fantastiskt fint ställe, trots lite väl många turister. Stränderna och vattnet är verkligen magiska! Här är mer paradis-aktigt än i Thailand.

Våra sista dagar spenderade vi på stranden och på en snorklingstur. Vi missade inte heller den underbara solnedgången en enda kväll. 

Snorklingsturen stannade på 4 ställen, varav ett av dem man faktiskt snorklade på. Första stället var det; crocodile island. Det var ett fint korallrev med många fina fiskar, Philip såg till och med en korallorm. Tyvärr missade jag den! Däremot så var det ganska obehagligt på detta stället då det var höga vågor och EXTREMT strömt! Så vi höll oss vid båten, och var inte i så länge. 

Som vi kanske har nämnt tidigare så kan många asiater inte simma. Det var inte många som kunde det på denna turen heller. Flera stycken fick ha hjälp att komma in till båten. Tur de i alla fall var flytväst. Men det roligaste och märkligaste vi någonsin har hört var detta: 

Där var en man som "snorklade" utan cyklop och snorkel. Då frågade Philip hans flickvän varför han gjorde det. Svaret då var att det inte var lönt att ha snorkel eftersom den bara fylldes med vatten. Ja, jo.. Men varför använder han inte cyklop i alla fall? Undrade Philip. Då svarade hon; nä men han kan bara öppna sina ögon. Hahaha, det skrattade vi åt resten av dagen. Den stackars mannen var alldeles kritvit i ansiktet och hade illröda ögon när han kom upp. Skylla sig själv? 

Efter det åkte vi till en ö. Crystal Cove hette den om vi minns rätt. Väldigt fin! Sen åkte vi till ett ställe där en minibuss väntade på oss för att ta oss till lunchstället. Under färden dit såg man se många människors hem. Och, de har verkligen inte det bra ställt. Väldigt jobbigt och hemskt att se. Det gör verkligen ont att se. Speciellt när man ser barnen. Filippinerna är märkbart fattigare än Thailand. 

Sista stoppet på turen var Puka beach! En fin strand där det inte var riktigt lika mycket människor som på stranden vid centrum. Inte heller något sjögräs i vattnet! 

Vi har verkligen blivit positivt överraskade av Boracay. Det enda negativa är att det kanske är lite väl turistigt och är relativt dyrt jämfört med andra ställen.

We are now in Cebu! We took the plane here this afternoon. 

Boracay has been great! A beautiful place, even though it has a lot of tourists. The beaches and the water really is magical! It's more like a paradise here then in Thailand. 

The last days we were at the beach and at a snorkeling trip. We didn't either miss the beautiful sunset a single evening.

The snorkeling trip stopped at 4 different places, which only one of them was a place were you could snorkel. That was the first stip; crocodile island. It was a nice coral reef with a lot of pretty fishes. Philip even saw a coral snake! I missed it. But, unfortunately it was a bit scary to snorkle there, because there were really high waves and the current was REALLY bad! So we stayed by the boat and weren't in the water for very long. 

As we may have mentioned before, many Asian people can't swim. Neither could many of the Asian people on this trip. Many people had to get help to get back to the boat. Good thing they wore life vests at least. But we heard the weirdest and funniest thing; there was a man who was "snorkeling" without a mask or a snorkle. 

Philip asked his girlfriend why he was doing that. The girlfriends respond was; it's not worth it, he'll get water in the snorkle all the time anyways. Yeah.. But why isn't he at least wearing the mask? Philip wondered. She answered: oh, he can just open his eyes. Hahaha, we laughed about it all day. The poor guy was white as milk in his face and had really red eyes when he got up. But he can blame himself. 

Then we went to an island we think was called crystal cove. Really pretty! After that we went to another place where a minivan picked us up and took us to the lunch place. On the way there we saw a lot of people's homes. And they certainly don't have very good living conditions. It's rough and sad to see. Especially when you see children. It really hurts to see. You can easily tell that the Philippines has a lot worse living conditions than Thailand. 

The last stop on the tour was Puka beach! A nice beach with not as many people as the beach by the center. And no see weeds in the water! 

We were really positively surprised by Boracay. The only negative things are that it might be a bit too touristy, and it's relatively expensive if you compare to other places.
